Curated by Paloma Alarcó and produced with the Munchmuseet in Oslo and the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, the show explores themes the two artists shared: love, desire, illness, death, loneliness and existential anguish, with special attention to the female figure and to modern settings such as cafés and cabarets.
